Jakob Burgsø
Jakob didn’t grow up surrounded by luxuries or trendy toys. He grew up in a workshop: wood, nails, and dust. Within those four walls, a fire was born that never went out—the need to create with his hands.
That child wasn’t content just to look. He wanted to transform. He learned to shape the hardness of wood, to leave in each piece something you can’t buy in a home décor store: soul.
In 2016, he got tired of designing in front of a screen. He turned his back on the computer and on freelance graphic design work. He wanted something real, something that smelled of the workshop. That’s how BOYHOOD was born.
Jakob’s works aren’t ornaments. They’re a punch of memories, a challenge in your living room. Like me, he believes art isn’t there to fill empty shelves—it’s there to move something inside you.
